So let's roleplay how people lived and died before modern medicine! Open this random number generator and get ready. Keep going down the list (as long as you survive) until you reach your current age. Then vote in the poll at the end.
Infancy (<1): generate a random number between 1 and 100. If it's 33 or less, you have died before the age of 1. If it's 34 or higher, you survive to...
Early childhood (1-5): generate another random number. If it ends in a 0, you have died before the age of 5. If it ends in anything else, you survive to...
Childhood and teens (6-14): generate another random number. If it's a multiple of 20, you have died before the age of 15. If it ends in anything else, you survive to...
Young adulthood (15-40): generate another random number and get ready. Here's where it gets a little complicated.
Are you likely to be identified as male? Then you may be called upon to fight in battle!
- If your country hasn't been at war in your lifetime, if your number is 1, 50 or 100, you have died in battle.
- If your country has been at war in your lifetime, if your number is a multiple of 10, you have died in battle.
- If you have ever been in the military, if your number is a multiple of 5, you have died in battle.
- Also, if your number is 2 or 3, you have died from a different cause.
